Description |
Joseph W. Beer Was born in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, March 26. 1838. His father 's name was Jacob, and his mother's name was Catherine. Her maiden name was Wampler. His parents were members of the Tunkers, and thier home for many years was a place of religious services. Brother Beer was educated principally in the public schools and the Dayton Academy. He was converted and baptized in 1859, and was elected to the ministry in 1861. |
